For my best friend, Grace…
I was not really into twitter until I started my online part-time job. I now usually use it as a sounding board while I’m working. It’s also fun talking with my classmates, fellow bloggers and friends. I follow very few people and very few celebrities. I think I only follow Writer Kim Eun Sook, Go Hyun Jung, Kim Hyun Jook, Park Jin Hee and Kim Jung Eun. I follow them because they are my favorites – except for Kim Jung Eun. Not that I hate her. But I just follow her because she is Kim Sun Ah’s friend (hoping I’d get to read some updates from her tweets) and because my best friend adores her.
Last night I saw her tweet (I noticed she deleted her tweet, so I’d rather not tell what it was). Since I was still awake as well, I replied to it. Just for fun. Just to practice my Korean before dozing off. And honestly, to wish her well also. I was surprised to see her reply when I woke up this morning.
Well, it was fun. But I was not ecstatic or anything. I’m pretty sure if this reply from Kim Jung Eun was received by other people (*ehem Grace ehem*) they would’ve jumped for joy. Sorry. Had it been Kim Sun Ah, I would’ve jumped and screamed all morning.
Grace 언니, this is for you! I truly hope you’ll get a chance to talk to her too… even in twitter.
